Here’s How to Win Your Life Back from A Destructive Addiction to Porn

31 Day Challenge

More people visit porn sites everyday than Netflix, Amazon and Twitter combined.

Getting porn used to take time and effort, but now it takes hard work just to avoid looking at porn. 34% of all internet users have viewed unwanted porn via ads, popups and spam.

The issue isn’t getting better; it’s about to get significantly worse.

With the recent introduction of VR technology, the porn industry is about to explode in ways we have never seen or experienced. It’s just a matter of time before high profile celebrities and Playgirls will be offered lucrative contracts to allow virtual Johns to have virtual sex with them as virtual girlfriends.

The porn industry generates more annual revenue than all major professional sports combined. Supply is based on demand.

You might believe your habit doesn’t hurt anybody, but you couldn’t be further from the truth.

The average age of girls being recruited as “porn models” is just 14 years old.

The porn industry is destroying families and individuals. It’s ruining real relationships and real love. Porn is a cheap alternative to true love, and it’s handicapping people’s abilities to engage in authentic and meaningful relationships.

Having been free from my own addiction to porn for over 15 years, I began a journey of writing a book on how to quit the habit cold turkey.

I studied psychology and human behavior. I researched God’s Word and studied every scripture I could find on the subject. I sought advice from dozens of other pastors from all over the world and invited them to speak into the subject that would ultimately become the #31DayChallenge

The #31DayChallenge is a book that encourages and helps people to stop using porn for a solid month with the goal that it kills the habit forever.

However, most addicts struggle to go a week without relapsing, much less a month. That’s why the #31DayChallenge gives a daily battle plan one day at a time. Cutting off porn for a month might sound crazy, but to get through one day might just seem possible.

The book challenges readers to win today. Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Get through today, today.

The book provides scripture, tips, streaks and practical tools to help fight each day.

The challenge is to get through all 31 days in a row. If you mess up, start over again and keep going. Eventually you will hit 31 days of being clean, and the guilt and shame melt away with it.

Not to mention, researchers suggest that the old adage of 21 days to make or break a habit is actually somewhere between 30 to 66 days. If you take on the challenge and succeed, perhaps you just broke free from the bondage that was destroying you from the inside out.

Porn is ruining lives. Let’s talk about this too-private-to-talk-about subject, bring it out into the light, and eliminate it from it lives.

True love and authentic relationships are far too precious to accept the cheap alternative that will erode and destroy both.
